what do juggalos/lettes look like?
Some of them wear clown make-up like ICP (not regularly...i hope) & they wear icp and other psycopathic records bands merch including t-shirts and jewelry (a popular one is the running hatchet man, pictured above). They also tend to drink the inexpensive drink Faygo which was popularized by ICP.
what are juggalos & juggalettes?
juggalos (males) & juggalettes(females) are basically fanatics of the music group Insane Clown Posse or other bands connected to psycopathic records. Juggalo is supposed to mean "a follower of the Dark Carnival,". Most of the bands seem to make your average mysoginistic rap songs. you know, drugs, violence and women. Spin, Blender and and rolling stone have voted ICP as the worst band in ANY genre of music. ICP is also consistently nominated for "Worst Band" and "Worst Album of the Year", as well as "Worst Single" in the NME Awards, and wins almost every time they are nominated. They have their own subculture so im sure that a lot of people disaggree with that. I agree with that, but i actually quite like a few of twiztid's songs (another band on psycopathic records). I DO NOT consider myself a juggalette though...i actually think all that is pretty silly. I consider myself a fan of a few songs lol.
Apparently there are such things as "fakes" or "posers" in the subculture. im not exactly sure what makes someone a poser but they are usually called things like "juggahoes", "juffalos" or "juffahoes".
the whole juggalo/lette thing started in the early 90s and surprisingly is still very much alive today. There are even scheduled "juggalo gatherings" every year where juggalos/lettes & the bands of psycopathic records get together for concerts, signings and things like that. They seem to usually be held in ohio or illinois. They seem to move almost every time, and have been banned from a few places because of "Drugs, alcohol, nudity, profanity and trash"
while doing a little research about them i found this quote from a juggalos webpage "First off, you can't become a juggalo, you are born a juggalo and one day you just happen to find your way home. You'll know pretty soon off...very easy way to tell, either you got love for your juggalo family or you don't. Thats it." ...well thats pretty ridiculous if you ask me haha.

its no surprise that a lot of juggalos are fucking insane and feel that hurting people is ok because theyre "down with the clown". (surprisingly those arent their worst lyrics, im just sick of listening to their songs haha) There have been juggalo gangs that just go out and hurt people for no reason. A lot of schools have banned ICP merchandise because of this. This is all obviously not ICPs fault as they arent making people do this, but kids are stupid and think its want a real "juggalo" would do. its obvious that the crimes are connected to the culture because they will commit them while if full ICP make-up, wearing the merch, using hatches as their weapons and screaming things like "juggalos will never die". its all pretty fucking ridiculous.
Between June 18 and June 20 2006, more attacks involving Juggalos, some wearing the clown makeup, were reported by the Seattle Times. The attacks left nearly two dozen injured. The group, armed with a machete, attacked, robbed, and threatened to decapitate visitors to Fort Steilacoom Park in Tacoma, Washington, shouting "Woo! Woo! Juggalo!" Seven suspects have been arrested, and three have been charged with assault and robbery.

On February 1, 2006, self-proclaimed Juggalo Jacob D. Robida attacked people in a gay bar in New Bedford, Massachusetts with a handgun and a hatchet, a weapon featured in the logo of ICP's record label, Psychopathic Records. Robida wore a swastika tattoo and flaunted Nazi insignia and paraphernalia on his myspace.(if you'd like to see this guys myspace click here) On February 5, he killed a traffic officer at a routine stop. When police stopped him, he killed his girlfriend Jennifer Bailey of Charleston, WV and opened fire on the police. He was shot twice in the head during the shootout with the police and died later in the hospital.
In February of 2007 Colorado teenager Bryan Grove, who identified himself as a juggalo, stabbed his girlfriend's mother to death and was arrested. His girlfriend Tess Damm, also a juggalo, and two of their friends have also been arrested in connection to the murder.
there have been tons of other instances where juggalos have done dumb shit like this, but obviously not everyone in the subculture is insane. they have an odd taste in music, but they arent insane haha.

The fact that that isnt a joke makes me laugh....really hard.
EDIT: It seems a few people are misunderstanding this page and as a result a few people were offended. I'd like to say before you read this page that its not here to hurt feelings! Its here to inform as well as to give my honest opinion. I'd also like to make it clear that i never said on this page that all juggalos were like the individuals mentioned in the "Juggalos/lettes get a bad name" section of the page, hence me giving it that title. Just like every other subculture there are lame people in it who ruin it for everyone else by getting the culture steryotyped. It should really be common sence that no one of any subculture is exactly the same, though. There are old loving grandma juggalos and hardcore drug addict criminal juggalos. So, hopefully that clears that up and i wont get anymore emails about this topic lmfao! i am honestly sorry if the article offends anyone, but i cant lie and change my opinion, you know? i'm not sure why it would though...im not trying to diss juggalos so the response i've gotten is pretty shocking.
