so start off with a completely clean face and then if you like to
do your foundation first do that now. put on your foundation,
concealer, primer, or whatever it is that you use. i just use MAC
studio fix powder but i usually do it at the end. I used a super crappy
white eye crayon from a local beauty supply that cost me like $1 as a
base. |
 |
I used MAC chrome yellow, which is a potted eye shadow from the
c-shock collection (it may be discontinued...but i looks a lot like MAC
primary yellow so im sure you can use that it it'll look the same), and
i made a C-ish shape on the side of my brow like shown. |
 |
Next i used MAC bright fuchsia and made a similar shape starting at my eye brow. |
 |
Then i blended them together, which made a pretty orange color. If
you dont know how to blend check out one of my several blending
tutorials for different techniques. |
 |
Next i put on a blue and purple color by electric cosmetics like
shown in the photo. i blended them together as well as with the bright
fuchsia. The electric cosmetics make-up was pretty good for its price.
its highly pigmented and has pretty colors, however it fades extremely
quickly, falls everywhere and it harder to work with. i guess i'll be
sticking to MAC :/. anyway... |
 |
After that i used MAC grape pigment to cover my lid. I blended it wih the Electric cosmetics colors. |
 |
After that i thought it still looked kind of dull even with all of
those colors so i extented it around the eye. i added chrome yellow,
bright fuchsia, and the electric cosmetics blue in a thing line right
under my lower lash line and blended it. |
 |
Now, heres the tricky part. I made the stars using a tiny brush and
MAC fluidline in blacktrack. i did some of the free hand and i did some
of them using little stencils i made using thick paper and a star hole
punch. i'd just hold the paper up to my face and color in the punched
out star with the eye liner. it seems like a simple enough idea but the
stars often came out looking not so star like haha. hence the free hand. |
 |
this is what it looked like with just the stars. If you're going to
attempt the star/stencil method i'd say just be careful and keep the
stencil still. also be sure not to flip the stencil around the wrong
way after using it one way. you'll get a messy print of the eye liner
you left on it on the make-up you already finished. i'd say free hand
is the way to go if you have an at least semi-steady hand. |
 |
After that i put on fake eye lashes and eye liner. I also put on little jewels that were attatched using eye lash glue. |
 |
Instead of normal blush/contour i used purple. It was Grape MAC pigment if i remember correctly. |
 |
last i put on lip stick. i used MAC Hollywood Nights from the
Heatherette collection...but you can used Malani hip rose as it is
LITERALLY the same color and costs $11 less! i own both and i was like
wtf :/ |
